Absolutely! Many couples choose string quartet or solo violin for ceremony, then transition to jazz saxophone for cocktail hour, and finish with DJ + electric violin collaboration for the reception. We'll coordinate all musicians for seamless transitions.
How does the DJ + musician collaboration work?
Stephen coordinates directly with the musician during your reception. The saxophonist or violinist performs over DJ sets at strategic moments—typically 3–4 songs throughout the night. This creates high-energy peaks that elevate the party atmosphere without overwhelming the entire evening.
Do the musicians play the entire ceremony/cocktail hour?
Yes! For ceremony, musicians play prelude (30 min before), processional, during ceremony, and recessional. For cocktail hour, they perform continuously for 60–90 minutes. They can also play during dinner service if desired.
