Where Music Meets Innovation
I'm Stephen—known as "Darby" in the wedding world. As a commercial DJ, producer, and classically trained pianist from the College of Charleston, I've spent 15+ years developing a unique fusion: live piano performance combined with professional DJ mixing.
Darby Events was established on January 14, 2012. Since then, 2,000+ weddings and events—from Charleston celebrations to corporate and private events—have shaped my craft and the experience we create for every client.

Eureka Moment
Live Piano Meets DJ Performance
“What if I played live piano inside the DJ set?” That idea became the signature hybrid experience couples still can’t find anywhere else.
